The Studio

Studio A

A 210 sq ft, multi-purpose, medium sized live room. Studio A is our multi-purpose, medium-sized live room. From its meticulous acoustic treatment to its impressive gear line up, this is the “swiss army knife” of our live rooms, suitable for soloists, bands and everything in between.

Studio B

A 837 sq ft, acoustically dynamic, large live room. Studio B is our largest and most exciting live room. With bold acoustics, tons of character, and space to spread out, it’s built for big sounds and ambitious projects. Ideal for bands, ensembles, orchrestras and artists who want their recordings to breathe with energy and presence.

Studio C

A 52 sq ft, controlled and focused, small vocal booth. Studio C is our most intimate recording space. Purpose-built as a vocal booth, this 52 sq ft room is fully acoustically treated for clean, controlled takes with zero distractions. Whether you’re tracking vocals, laying down voiceover, or capturing a single instrument, Studio C delivers clarity, focus, and just the right amount of isolation.

Designed from the ground up, Smokey Hollow Records combines precision acoustics with an inspiring creative atmosphere. Every surface has been professionally treated to deliver clarity and balance, while the space itself is warm, inviting, and built for long, productive sessions. Gear Highlights

The studio is centred around a custom Neve-powered 32-channel console, supported by top-tier outboard from SSL, Audioscape, Neve and more. We pair that with a collection of premium microphones from Neumann, AKG, Royer, Sennheiser and more, along with a range of professional amplifiers from Marshall, Fender, Ashdown and Blackstar. This gives you the very best tools to shape your sound at the highest level.

Our Process

Every mix starts with understanding the record. Before any processing begins, we take the time to listen closely and identify what matters, what needs to shine, and what the song is really trying to say. From there, we shape the mix with intention. Balancing clarity, depth, and vibe, we combine precision digital tools with high-end analog processing to bring out the best in every element.

Mastering

Our Process

Every master starts with a critical listen. We assess the mix as a whole, paying close attention to its tonal balance, dynamics, and translation. Once we understand what it needs to reach its full potential, we refine with precision. Subtle EQ, compression, and limiting are applied with intention, combining transparent digital tools with high-end analog processing to enhance clarity, impact, and consistency across all playback systems.

Our Strategy

Our go-to-market service covers everything required to prepare, distribute, and promote your release professionally. We begin by preparing your release for distribution, including optimizing artwork, generating and embedding essential metadata such as ISRC codes and copyright information, and registering your music with performance rights organizations like SOCAN and Re:Sound.

Distribution

We deliver your music to all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. We also ensure your artist profiles are fully set up and optimized, with complete bios, imagery, and branding that present you at a professional level.

Promotion

We support your launch with targeted outreach by submitting your release to Spotify playlist editors, radio stations, blogs, and sync opportunities, giving your music the strongest possible chance of gaining traction from day one.

Vinyl & CD

We prepare your music for vinyl and CD, handling audio optimization, mastering, and artwork to meet exact production standards. Once complete, we configure everything for on-demand manufacturing and fulfillment, allowing you to offer physical formats without managing the technical setup or production complexities.

Photoshoot

If your release needs strong visuals to match, we’ve got you covered. We offer professional music-focused photoshoots, capturing authentic, high-impact images for your launch. With years of experience and expert editing, we deliver polished, release-ready visuals that reflect your sound and identity.

Music Engraving

Sheet music

If your music needs to live on the page, we offer professional engraving to create clean, industry-standard sheet music. From lead sheets to full arrangements, every detail is carefully formatted and edited to ensure your music is clear, accurate, and ready for performance or publication. We publish our sheet music to musicnotes.com, the world's largest online retailer for sheet music.

Recording

$100 per hour

Mixing

One song – $700
Two songs – $1400
Three songs – $2100
E.P. (4-6 songs, project rate) – $3500
Album (7-12 songs, project rate) – $6800

All mixes include 1 revision round per song. A revision round consists of reasonable mix adjustments (levels, balances, tone, effects, automation). Major mix changes, structural revisions, direction changes, or additional revision rounds, are billed at $100 per hour. Any additional billing is discussed and approved in advance.

Mastering

One song – $150
Two songs – $300
Three songs – $450
E.P. (4-6 songs, project rate) – $750
Album (7-12 songs, project rate) – $1500

All mastering includes tonal balancing, loudness optimization, and delivery of release-ready masters. EP and album project rates are intended for cohesive releases mastered as a single body of work. Additional revisions or alternate versions are billed hourly.

A standard recording session includes tracking, where you get access to our top of the line recording equipment, including state of the art mics, preamps, and instruments. This allows you to create your music with the very best tools in acoustically superior rooms. 

Absolutely. Bring a friend, a family member, or your whole band — just let us know in advance so we can prep the space.

Yep! We offer mixing and mastering services for tracks recorded at home or in other studios. Just send us clean stems and we’ll take it from there.
