Taking a page out of the playbook of some of the biggest indie pop/rock bands of the 21st century (namely The Fray, The Script and Coldplay), Haydons Place hoist their flag over a tiny patch of musical landscape, eager to establish their sound in a chorus of giants.

Rooted in driving piano rock, each song is infused with infectious melodies that are doused generously in pop sensibility, while at the same time, housed in the domicile of alternative indie rock. From the rousing opening number “Time To Talk”, to the pensive, bare-bones of the titular track “Atlas”; from the hauntingly epic “Static” to the toe tapping, uplifting “Distance”, each song on this album successfully introduces Haydons Place as pop/rock’s latest champions, with chops that must be admired and music that must be heard.
